Eriodictyol
Eriodictyol is a flavonoid, a type of plant compound that has been found to have potential health benefits. It is commonly found in various plants, including citrus fruits, parsley, and chamomile. Eriodictyol has been studied for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties.
Antioxidants help protect the body against damage from harmful molecules called free radicals, which can cause oxidative stress and contribute to chronic diseases. Eriodictyol has been shown to scavenge free radicals and protect against oxidative stress.
